The University is delighted that both our University Premier League winning Golf Teams and recreational golfers can play, practice at and join Edgbaston GC. The money that the club has invested in both the course and its practice facilities is making real improvements for both its members and those visiting the club. As a University Golf Club we place a high value on our relationship with Edgbaston Golf Club and its members and believe that the strength of this relationship and synergies from it will continue to grow.

University of Birmingham

During 2009 Edgbaston Golf Club developed excellent links with Birmingham University and the students on the Applied Golf Management Degree.

The University play their home team games at Edgbaston GC as well as taking up 60 memberships of the club. The teams have achieved much over the years and back in 2009 a group of 4 women became the first all women team to win the World Student Matchplay Championships in Munich.
