Established in 1896, we are a private members golf club with an 18 hole course
designed by H. S. Colt in a unique setting just two miles from the centre of Birmingham.

We are very proud of our golf club and we enjoy extending a warm welcome to
Visitors and Societies by prior arrangement.

The magnificent clubhouse shown opposite was originally commissioned by Sir Richard Gough in 1717.

Amid the splendour of this wonderful parkland course it is difficult to imagine that Birmingham is so close. The view below shows the first hole with glimpses of the city in the distance through the trees.



The course includes an ornamental lake and plays through mature and extensive woodland and there is evidence to suggest that Capability Brown was involved in the original design.

The small greens and tight fairways allow little margin for error if a good score is to be achieved.

Whatever your score and however you play, the magnificent clubhouse, the well stocked professional's shop, the wonderful food and, most of all, the guaranteed warmth of your welcome by our staff and our members will make your visit to Edgbaston a real joy.
