The Warwickshire Boys Championships and Under 16's Championships paid its first visit to Edgbaston Golf Club and what was forecast to be a relatively dreary and wet day turned into a pleasant event. With 54 competitors from Clubs around Warwickshire competing over 36 holes.
There were many excellent scores shot throughout the day, with one player rising to the top to take the crown with rounds of 69 and 68 giving a one under total of 137. Congratulations to Patrick Skakel of Copt Heath GC. In very close second place was Ryan Wallace of Handsworth GC with rounds of 68 and 70.
Edgbaston GC was delighted to host such and event and we hope that it returns once more in the future.
