Food & Beverage Shift TEAM LEADER

Reporting to the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, the Shift Team Leader is responsible for doing just that, leading the team on shift to maintain the high level of standards for our members and visitors and acting as Duty Manager in their absence or as required by your rota. You will achieve this by:

- Presenting a professional, friendly and efficient impression of the Golf Club at all times

- Maintaining the highest standards of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, appearance, body language and conduct

- Running and managing you team: work schedule, training new employees recruited together with the General Manager

- Developing team spirit and motivation by creating a good working atmosphere

- Preparation of the Club House for day to day activities and functions and maintaining a pleasant atmosphere.

- Ensuring that high standards of presentation are maintained in every area of the Club House and by all staff at all times

- Leading and motivateing the team in order to provide high quality services for our members and visitors

- Deal with member and visitor complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times and ensure that any member or visitor  complaints and comments are reported to management

- Co-ordinating and supervising the team in the Department and monitor stock levels

- Integrating, training and leading the Food & Beverage Team

- Being aware of guests’ needs at all times, to make available knowledge and resources to meet those requirements

- Maintaining a good working relationship with your colleagues, creating a team that works well together

- Managing and reporting all emergencies and complaints using the procedures set by the Company 

- Any other duties as directed by the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager or other member of the management team


Applicants will need to demonstrate:

- Experience in a similar Team Leader Role

- Customer service experience

- Excellent communication and organisation skills

- Good attention to detail


Full Time Role available, up to £11.50 per hour depending on experience and capability, plus cash tips shared equally with all on shift.

Food and Bevergae Service AssistanTS

Our Food and Beverage Service Assistants are at the front of everything we do for our members and visitors, providing a warm, friendly and efficient food and beverage service, ensuring exceptional service standards are delivered and maintained at all times in line with our member and visitor expectations.

- Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our members and visitors

- Ensure that our members and visitors are acknowledge and greeted promptly with a smile

- Ensure that all members and visitors’ requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively and an exceptional service is delivered to members and visitors at all times

- Familiarise yourself with the menu and as much information about the food and beverage offering available in order to answer any questions members and visitors may have

- Take food and beverage orders and ensure that orders are communicated to the kitchen and bar promptly and accurately

- Ensure an efficient and safe delivery of all food and beverage orders in line with guest expectations ensuring an exceptional level of service is maintained at all times

- Set up, clear and promptly service tables after use to ensure that members and visitors can be seated in a timely manner

- Ensure the Club House is clean and well presented at all times and assist with cleaning and housekeeping duties as required

- Ensure till procedures are carried out in line with agreed procedures

- Prepare all back of house service points with regard to expected numbers for breakfast, lunch or dinner requirements as necessary

- Assist in the set up and preparation, and provide service duties for functions as required

- Support the kitchen staff as and when required and in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations

- Ensure that all front of house and guest areas are well maintained at all times

- Any other duties as directed by the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager or other member of the management team


No experience is required. All that we ask is that you;

- Are a nice person

- Have a can do attitude


Full Time and Part Time Roles available, up to £9.50 per hour dependant on age, plus cash tips shared equally with all on shift.


Chef de Partie 

Reporting to the Food and Beverage General Manager, the Chef de Partie will;

- Run and supervise any kitchen section to the required standards set by the Food and Beverage General Manager

- Ensure all preparation of the designated section is complete and ready for each service

- Ensure good stock and waste control is practised

- Be responsible for the quality control of stock and prepared foods

- Execute cooking to the expected high standard quickly and efficiently

- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of designated section

- Support the team in delivering required standard of food

- Appropriately delegate jobs to junior chefs and apprentices and support them in their development

- Maintain a positive and proactive attitude at all times and seek to improve and advance your skill set and performance

- Comply with all health and safety regulations, the Staff Code of Conduct and company policies

- Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef and management

- Seek to ensure that all members and visitors enjoy the best experience possible


Applicants will need to demonstrate:

- Self-motivation and a passion for hospitality and cooking

- Effective time management of busy kitchen section

- High standard of food preparation

- Good attention to detail.

- At least 6 month’s experience in a chef de partie role


Full Time Role available, up to £13.50 per hour depending on experience and capability, plus cash tips shared equally with all on shift.
