Our ethos is to deliver high-quality hospitality that exceeds our member and customer expectations. We serve good food and drink, in a professional manner, with passion and pride. Sourcing, seasonality and sustainability, as well as the quality of our produce, is high on our agenda.
Suppliers are hand-picked from the local area: we select our meats from a high-quality butcher in Sutton Coldfield, our delicious breads are baked in Rugby; our fish, fruit and vegetables from the Birmingham Wholesale Market and our cheeses come from a dairy in Earlswood. Our wholesale distributor, brewery and premium mixers are brought to the club from Wolverhampton and Staffordshire.
Our restaurant is committed to providing excellent food and professional service at reasonable prices. All dishes are homemade and cooked to order and offer a traditional British dining experience. Feedback has highlighted the consistent high quality of our offerings.
We also host an array of social events. Our monthly Dining Club is a popular event which showcases the team’s culinary skills, allowing them to write exciting menus from further afield. Our members can also arrange private dining in one of our function rooms or the restaurant, which is ideal for any special occasion. Members can eat on the terrace in fine weather, and guests are welcome. Both the Restaurant and the Bar Menu are available all day. Bookings are required for the evening Restaurant service of 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Please note the kitchen will close at 5:00 PM if there are no bookings.
Our restaurant presents a warm and convivial atmosphere; feedback from visitors has cited excellent food and service as hallmarks of dining at Edgbaston Hall.
We host a weekly Sunday lunch, which is a great opportunity for members, friends and families to get together to enjoy an expertly prepared and cooked a-la-carte meal. Sittings are at 12:30pm and 2:30pm. See our most up to date menu here.
The club offers an extensive wine menu, with over 30 bins hand selected by Greg Smith, Head of Food and Beverage, our partners at Enotria & Coe, as well as expert consultation and guidance from Loki wines, with each of the wines available by the glass, in 125ml, 175ml or 500ml carafe.
The bar also has an exclusive Gin Menu with premium perfectly paired mixers from Franklin and Sons, using the finest Staffordshire spring water.
