How To Join

Edgbaston Golf Club has a very warm and welcoming membership. Whether you have been a resident in Birmingham for many years or you are new to the area, applications can be made to the Office for both Playing and Social memberships. Please call 0121 454 1736 (option 1) to arrange an appointment at the Club where full details will be given.

Individual Application

Applications are currently being accepted for all categories of Membership.  The membership year runs from April to March but entry can be made at any point during the year. To take advantage of the reduced Entrance Fees, please call the office on 0121 454 1736 (option 1).  Please see our current subscription rates and entrance fees below.

Provisional 

The Club has a Provisional Membership category available to those without sponsors that allows entry for up to a 12 month period without the need to pay an entrance fee.

Full Playing

Our full playing membership offers access to the course and practice facilities 7 days a week (subject to competitions and society bookings)

Members are kept up to date with a weekly bulletin of upcoming events /competitions at the club and can access the club diary online via a pc/laptop, smart phone or tablet.

Full Playing B2 (18-23 yrs old)

The B1 membership category offers all the benefits of the full playing membership with a considerably reduced subscription rate and entrance fee.

Full Playing B1 (24-29 yrs old)

The B1 membership category offers all the benefits of the full playing membership with a reduced subscription rate and entrance fee.

Full Playing Restricted

Edgbaston offers a 7 day membership which has restricted times on the weekends (after 2pm Sat & 11am Sun).

A reduced subscription rate is offered for those golfers who prefer to play their golf of an afternoon at the weekend.

Junior (10-17 years old)

Edgbaston Golf Club has a growing junior section and we are always keen to encourage new juniors in to the game. The juniors have a full calendar including medals/stablefords and the Junior Club Championship. The Professional also runs the New Junior Golf Passport Programme which is geared to juniors of all standards.
