Practice Area Developments

The short game practice area has been developed over the past couple of years and we will shorlty be installing floodlighting to allow the area to be used later in the season.  The lights are expected to installed in late October.  This will give the Professional Staff the ideal facility to really enhance the Academy Members' progress when they may otherwise have been prevented from practicing due to the shorter daylight hours.

This will also provide regular members with an improved practice facility.

Tokens for the lights will be available from the Pro Shop or the Bar.

New Bunkers

The Club is investing in a complete bunker renovation project that is due to start in November 2017.  Every bunker on the course will be individually re-lined adn filled with a new type of sand.  This will be very different from the current sand in terms of both texture and colour but having undertake extension research, it is believed that this will dramatically enhance the look and playability of the course.

There will obviously be minor disruption whilst the project is underway, but the Greens staff will be doing everything possible to minimise this.  The project is expected to be completed in January 2018 so that the bunkers are all done in time for the 2018 season.
